Irene Singo

Ms Irene Singo was appointed acting chief financial officer in September 2011. She holds a BCompt (Hons) (CTA) post-graduate degree from the University of South Africa and has completed the Executive Leadership Programme at the University of Cape Town. She also holds an IAC higher certificate in accounting from Tshwane University of Technology. Ms Singo previously worked as a teller, salary clerk, accountant, financial controller and auditor. She chairs the quality control committee for Land Restitution and also served as financial director with the Deeds Registration Trading Account. From March 2010 to August she served as chief director for Financial Management Services and also as acting chief director: Supply Chain and Facilities Management Services.
