With over 18 years of experience in information security and privacy, Tiaan van Schalkwyk is associate director: Deloitte, Risk Advisory Africa. He is responsible for selling, delivering and managing information security, IT governance and BCM/DR consulting engagements. He has a breadth of ICT experience across various proprietary and open source technologies. This experience is augmented by his significant IT governance, vulnerability management, security architecture, information security management systems, privacy, business continuity management and disaster recovery experience.
