Abel Mabaso

Abel Mabaso started off at Chippa United before moving to Mamelodi Sundowns where Abel Mabaso quickly played his way up the ranks from development to the first team in 2013. At the prime age of 27, Abel joined Orlando Pirates Football Club where he hoped to win trophies on the domestic and continental stages.

A self-confessed John Moeti fan, Mabaso considers himself a character that leads by example and does not fall short of the words “team player”. Outside of football, “Mshumba” enjoys travelling, reading and has a keen interest in developing his entrepreneurial skills.
