Adekunle Sonola

Adekunle Sonola joined Union Bank in 2015 as an Executive Director in charge of the bank’s Commercial Banking business in Nigeria.
Prior to joining the Union Bank, he worked at Guaranty Trust Bank where he rose from being a member of the Corporate Finance Group to Divisional Head, Corporate Banking. Adekunle Sonola left Guaranty Trust Bank Managing Director, East Africa, where he successfully rolled out the franchise in Uganda, Rwanda and Kenya.
Mr. Sonola has also served as Director, Investment Banking Africa for Standard Bank of South Africa.
He has more than 26 years of banking experience.
