Agaichatou Dicko
Agaichatou Dicko has five years of experience in volunteerism and community service through her activities as an English club leader. Currently, she is a trainee at the State Protocol office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mali. She also initiated a summer-training initiative program, which aims to train 66 students from middle and high schools in English, civics education, and team building. Agaichatou Dicko holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Arabic from the faculty of Letters, Languages, and Sciences of Language, and a diploma from the Teacher’s Training School of Bamako. She is the leader of ‘Association des Jeunes Leaders en Action pour la Promotion de la Femme’, which aims to promote women’s leadership and empowerment through educational, entrepreneurship, health, and agricultural programs. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Agaichatou plans to work in agriculture with women in Timbuktu planting, producing, packaging, and storing high-quality vegetables.
