Ahmad Mokhles

Ahmad Mokhles joined Liquid Telecom as our first Group Chief Operating Officer in June 2018 to help drive operational excellence across the group’s 13 countries of operation. Ahmad brings over 20 years of ICT experience to the role, having worked for some of the Middle East and Africa’s largest telecoms groups, including Orascom, Etisalat, Ooredoo and Airtel Africa. Prior to joining Liquid Telecom, Ahmad served as COO for Airtel Nigeria for three years.

Before that, he served as Executive Vice President of Consumer and Digital Business for du, overseeing the company’s Smart City business, and has also served as CCO for Asiacell Iraq, part of Ooredoo Group.

Ahmad Mokhles lives in Dubai with his wife and two kids Adham and Maryam. He is very passionate about taking new adventures, reading and playing squash on a daily basis.
