Ahmed Banderker

Ahmed Banderker completed his articles at Fisher Hoffman PKF. Thereafter, he joined Sail Group Limited as Finance Manager. He joined Royal Dutch Shell (“Shell”) in 2003, where he led a diverse team across different countries, fulfilling various roles. He was appointed as a Board member and shareholder representative of Shell’s subsidiary companies in South Africa.

Ahmed was appointed to the Sanlam Group in November 2006 as Head of Finance at Glacier, before taking on the role of Chief Executive: Strategic Business Development in 2011.
