Alec Hogg

London-based, Alec Hogg is the founder and publisher of SA’s leading online Business Update service. A writer, broadcaster and media entrepreneur, he was the overall winner of the Sanlam Financial Reporter of the Year in 1982, aged 23. Thirty years later he was honoured by the same competition’s judges with a Lifetime Achiever’s Award for contributions to SA financial journalism through his writing and radio and television broadcasting. Alec is often called on to Facilitate events as the Master of Ceremonies or Panel Chairperson and his experience in almost all media, position him ideally as a Media Trainer.
