Alfredo Jochoma
Alfredo Jochoma is the national Co-coordinator for JUNTOS; a secondary project of the Peace Corps and funded by PEPFAR. JUNTOS works to engage youth with activities through the arts (e.g theater and music), journalism, community events, and workshops to reduce HIV risky behavior. Alfredo Jochoma is the coordinator for ETN-English Theatre Network (also funded by PEPFAR). ETN promotes English language skills in Secondary Schools through theatre in addition to counselling and HIV awareness. Together with his wife, Jochoma founded Tamara English Club, a free English school for students from low income families. In 2017, he started a project called *Outro Jovem* (which translates to A Different Youth) of which the main objective is to empower youth economically by investing in their entrepreneurship ideas. He is also an International Visitor Leadership Program (USA – 2016) and YALI, SA (UNISA – 2017) alumni. Stayed in Africa.
