Alvin Naicker

Alvin Naicker has been involved in sports broadcasting since 1990. In an extensive career, he has worked on five Olympic Games and Commonwealth Games, four soccer World Cups and two Cricket World Cups, chiefly as a producer or director.

Alvin was largely responsible for pioneering the directing and producing of South Africa’s first Twenty20 cricket matches. He was also executive producer for the 2010 Football World Cup for SuperSport.

The head of production at SuperSport since 2010, he is a multiple award winner at the SAB Media Awards, twice being named overall winner of the prestigious honour.
