Alvon Collison Collision born in Cape Town, has been called “Mr Showbiz” in South Africa for many years. He had his own spectacular caberet floor show at Kyalami ranch in Johannesburg. 18 shows in 3 years. He performed in “Joseph and his amazing Technicolor dreamcoat” (3000 performances). Tim Rice, the author, said he was the best Pharoah in the world.

After winning the Gallo award and Three Leaf award for his performance as Pharoah in “Joseph”, he performed Jesus Christ Superstar as Herod and in Evita portrayed Magaldi.

Countless productions of his own “Showtime”, with a cast of 40 singers and dancers, which received standing ovations, at Artscape Theatre in Cape Town.

As MC, compere, singer, dancer and fun man, his big songs are New York, New York, Click Song, Simply The Best, Rock ‘n Roll medley, Elvis tribute, Wonderful World, To Life, Le Chaim, My Way, Rice/Lloyd Webber medleys and his witty repartee is a favourite with everyone. He is never offensive.

A professional and enjoying his life to the fullest, he is grateful to God for giving him a second chance with his life after being rescued from the sinking of the ill fated Oceanos Liner.

He will sing and entertain with joy at your weddings, divorces, Barmitzvah’s and birthdays. A big thrill was singing for Archbishop Desmond Tutu at his 70th birthday and also at The Arch and Leahs 50th wedding anniversary, and meeting Nelson Mandela. At Premier Ebrahim Rasool’s residence he performed many times for the premier’s guests.
