Aminta Dicko

Aminta Dicko has over five years of experience working in migration management. She currently works as a project officer in the Counter-Trafficking Unit of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Mali, in which she implements projects to fight human trafficking and to protect vulnerable migrants. Additionally, she provides direct assistance to victims of trafficking and has trained over 600 government and civil society actors in Mali, Nigeria, Ghana and Guinea regarding human trafficking and protection issues and provided direct assistance to over a hundred victims of trafficking. Aminta Dicko holds a Master’s degree of Science in Public Management and Public Policy from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, Netherlands. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, she intends to continue to support the government of Mali in the reinforcement of their counter-trafficking efforts and to foster the creation an anti-human trafficking initiative which will act in favor of persons at risks of being exploited.
