Andres Blanco

Andrés Blanco Grasa was born in 1964. He is currently CEO of Xcalibur Multiphysics Group, a leading company in airborne geophysics solutions.
He graduated in Telecommunications Engineering at Polytechnic University of Madrid and holds an MBA from IESE Business School. He began his professional career at Andersen Consulting, then moved to the French IT company Bull where he managed the international networks and communications group. Later he returned to the business consulting sector, first at Gemini Consulting, then at A.T. Kearney where he became Vice President in Spain, and finally at Atlante, a subsidiary of Indra, as Managing Director, in addition to being a member of Indra’s Operating Committee.
Between 2004 and 2013, he was founder and CEO of the Aretech Group, an engineering company for energy, water and environmental projects.
Since 2013, Andrés Blanco has been the CEO of Xcalibur Multiphysics Group.
Xcalibur Multiphysics is a world leader in airborne geophysics. Its activity focuses on mapping natural resources, such as minerals, oil and gas, water and energy sources, including geothermal and hydrogen, through its geophysical systems installed on its fleet of aircraft. Its main customers are governments, public agencies and large and small mining, oil, energy and environmental companies.
