Angus Band

Angus has 37 years’ experience in both commercial directorship and professional corporate governance. Throughout his career, Angus had succeeded at some of the biggest names in South African Corporate Businesses.

From 1980 to 1995, Angus became the Commercial Director at PG Bison Ltd. Thereafter he spent two years as Telkom Ltd.’s Chief Financial Officer. He then went on to become the Group CEO of Anglovaal Industries Ltd. The last decade, since 2005, has seen Angus as both Aveng Limited’s Chairman of the Board and Liberty Holdings Limited’s Non-Executive Director.

Angus was appointed as the Non-Executive, Independent Chairman of Liberty Two Degrees on 26 July 2017.
