Anish Shivdasani is CEO and co-founder of Giraffe- a fully automated mobile recruitment app that gives medium-skilled jobseekers access to opportunities for free, and helps businesses recruit medium-skilled workers faster and cheaper than any other way- by automatically matching jobseekers with employers.

Giraffe won the Seedstars World award for Best Global Startup 2016, representing South Africa to beat over 3,000 startups from 60 emerging markets. Giraffe is also one of the only South African startups to have received Silicon Valley funding in the past year, raising a round of investment led by eBay founder and billionaire Pierre Omidyar’s VC fund- Omidyar Network.
