Anthea Gardner

Anthea spent the majority of her working life in investment banking for international companies such as HSBC, Rand Merchant Bank and Morgan Stanley, before her time as a Senior Investment Officer for the African Development Bank. She holds an MBA from Wits Business School, with a first class thesis in Option Pricing Theory. She can regularly be seen or heard commenting on CNBC Africa, Classic FM, Cliff Central and is a judge for this year’s Forbes Africa, All Africa Business Leaders Awards. She is a keen sportsperson, counting the Ironman in Sweden, as one of her greatest accomplishments. Anthea has been a trustee on the ASHA Early Childhood Development charity board since 2015.
