Arrie Rautenbach

Arrie Rautenbach is Chief Executive Officer of Absa Group and has been a Group Exco member since 2015 with more than 25 years’ banking experience. Under his leadership, Absa has received numerous local and global awards and industry accolades to signify his stand-out stewardship. His leadership disposition is rooted in leveraging the immense benefits of the relevant ecosystems to derive optimal growth opportunities. He holds an Honorary Professorship in Practice as well as a Bachelors in Business Administration (cum laude) and Masters in Business Administration. In addition, he has also participated in an Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD.
