Awa Sinyan

Awa Sinyan is the founder of Mira Impex, a cashew and groundnut processing company located in The Gambia. The company specializes in the sourcing, processing, and packaging raw cashews and groundnuts for West African and international markets. Awa Sinyan aspires one of the emerging young African women who are transforming the agricultural sector throughout Africa and the world. She believes that women play an integral role in agriculture. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, she will promote and inspire other young women to pursue agriculture as a career.
