Awo Abdi Elmi
Awo Abdi Elmi is a capacity-building professional with over six years of experience in the management of community development projects. Currently, Awo Abdi Elmi is the assistant to the capacity building coordinator at the Djiboutian Agency for Social Development. There she organizes and delivers training to women’s groups, various associations, and government officials. Currently, she is pursuing two masters’ degrees, one in Management and another in Public Administration. Furthermore, Awo has been working with underprivileged children to awaken them to the universe of reading and literature. After completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship, she will work towards improving the understanding of best public management practices within the Djiboutian administration. Stayed in Africa.
