Banele Lukhele
Banele Lukhele is a freelance educator and writer, who promotes access with an emphasis on child and women development. Banele completed a Bachelor of Music at the University of Witwatersrand majoring in composition and research. In her honours year she worked as the program assistant for the South Africa Washington International Program, a student leadership development programme. Parallel to this, she has been involved in private education as well as volunteering. In 2012 she began to explore alternative teaching methods, including teaching through play and cultural exchange. Banele currently provides educational solutions in public-, private- and home-schooling spaces. Over and above this she volunteers as a teacher with Love and Grow Mentorship – an organisation that is run by women.
