Barrack Owino Ogwell
Barrack Owino has over four years’ collective experience in healthcare and social programs management. Currently, Barrack is Programs Manager at Beacon Health Services in Nairobi, Kenya where he focuses on low cost, high quality customized oncology and hematology outpatient care. He is also involved in providing low cost or free cancer screening for the middle and low-income populace in Nairobi. Barrack supplies information, communication and continuous medical education and training to upcoming oncology practitioners.Barrack Owino Ogwell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Development Studies with IT from Maseno University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management. He is committed to providing affordable and accessible high-quality oncology and hematology care and management. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Barrack plans to continue facilitating a human rights approach to health where more middle and low-income households can access affordable and high-quality chronic disease care.
