Batsile Rakgantsho Ramasodi
Since graduating from the Tshwane University of Technology and receiving his Diploma in Drama, Batsile Rakgantsho Ramasodi has embarked on a journey that has earned him the name: ‘Jack-of-all-trades’ in South Africa’s entertainment industry. From painting a white mask on his face, entertaining both young and old as a mime artist, to keeping the audience enthralled by mastering a character with his fellow thespians on theatre
stages, this highly talented artist has done it all. Batsile’s industry acumen, includes but is not limited to: working for educational theatres – touring extensively around South Africa teaching life skills in disadvantaged schools, and performing industrial theatre arts for many corporate companies. This accumulated experience has only fueled more passion in him to delve further into creative arts, conceiving classic theatrical styles to help enhance his performance skills. Batsile Rakgantsho Ramasodi has since enrolled back at T.U.T for his degree, specializing in educational theatre, physical comedy and physical theatre. When he’s not in character you’ll find this burgeoning twenty five year old doing entertainment of a different kind at Sun International Casinos as a promotional jock, overseeing draws and informing punters of events happening at the casinos.
