Bavelile Hlongwa

Bavelile Gloria Hlongwa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She started her career at Shell Downstream SA. 

Bavelile Hlongwa has been exposed to leadership positions since 1999 and has served on the Local Community Development Committee. In 2011, Ms. Hlongwa was elected into the South African Institute of Chemical Engineers at the KZN Branch, where she served as a Treasurer in 2013.

In May 2017, Ms. Hlongwa was appointed as the Executive Deputy Chairperson of the Board of the National Youth Development Agency.
