Belchior Simplicio Jose Mutaquiha

Belchior Simplicio Jose Mutaquiha has over four years of experience in the social development sector, as a Program Officer for Health System Strengthened. Belchior started work for the government in the Gaza Provincial Health Directorate, where he assumed the duties of Chief of the Monitoring and Evaluation area. Belchior Simplicio Jose Mutaquiha holds a bachelor’s degree in Statistic from the University Eduardo Mondlane in Mozambique(Africa), where he focused on the determinants of non- condom use among young people. He is currently doing a course in Business Management through distance learning. Belchior is committed to eliminating gender inequities in access to credit. Upon completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship, he wants to bring the teachings to his home country to set up a spirit of leadership that will help consolidate and increase the network that has been created in order to wisely promote microfinance and sustainably support business projects led by women and vulnerable groups.
