Belen Mohammedseid Adem
Belen Mohammedseid Adem has over four years of experience in research and consultancy. Currently, Belen is an analyst for the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change in Ethiopia, where she works in collaboration with government counterparts to support the placement of systems, structures, and skills to deliver on national priorities effectively. She also facilitates an initiative, which provides essential school supplies to disadvantaged students in her community. Belen Mohammedseid Adem holds Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Economics and is pursuing a Master of Human and Economic Development in Africa. She is committed to ensuring that the ever-growing foreign investment directed towards Africa benefits local communities and creates positive externalities on domestic industries through linkage development programs. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Belen plans to continue her work in private sector development with a focus on integrating local industrial leaders into the national industrialization agenda.
