Benjamin Dube

Benjamin Dube is a celebrated  South African gospel artist and pastor. Benjamin Dube began his professional music in 1987 when he produced the Dube Family. He is the the youngest of five children and father of three sons, the singer, songwriter, producer and arranger follows in the footsteps of his late father.

Pastor Benjamin Dube Sr. who was an Evangelist who used music as a vehicle to enhance the message of the ‘Good News’. Benjamin Dube’s first big break-through was the song “Holy Spirit” that took South Africa by storm. Pastor Dube obtained his music diploma from FUBA (JHB).

He then recorded his first solo project in 1988 entitled ‘EBENEZER’. In 1996 he received the Outstanding National Gospel Artist award from Hope for his solo album“Celebration”. Musical collaborations and performances found Pastor Dube sharing the stage with likes of Lucky Dube, Rebecca Malope, Don Laka, Sibongile Khumalo, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Victor Masondo and Chicco Twala. He has also opened performances for well-known American Gospel Artists like the late James Cleveland, Mighty Clouds of Joy, Clark Sisters and Andre Crouch.

Pastor Benjamin Dube has found himself in much demand as an international sessionist for The Warner Brother “Place of Hope” and in 1995 for CeCe Winans “Everlasting Love” in 1998. He has recorded radio and television commercial ads for Mazda, Joko and Sales House.

Pastor Dube is currently pastoring a church in the heart of Vosloorus called “High Praise Center”, with satellite churches are located in Nelspruit, Kwa-Ndebele and Durban.
