Benvindo Manuel Gama Paulo
Benvindo Gama Paulo has over seven years of exposure and experience in technology, oil and gas exploration, public works, and mineral exploration (diamonds). He takes on roles from operations to project management. Currently, he is a business analyst at Angola Development and Management Company (ADMC, Lda), and is responsible for identifying management and operation difficulties, and designing improvement solutions. He is entrusted with finding new opportunities for investment. He is also executive director at Ilanga Energy Pty, a newly established company with a mission to provide solar technology solutions for rural communities in Africa. In the community he is engaged in startup mentoring, reinforcing culture through music, and advocates for education and diversification of skills in volatile economies. Benvindo is a geologist and holds a master’s degree in Technology Entrepreneurship, University College London. After completing the Fellowship, Benvindo plans to continue leveraging technology to improve the social conditions of communities.
