Bernard Lennon Ekuwam

Bernard Lennon Ekuwam has cumulative experience of seven years’ serving in various organizations empowering communities, specifically on Integrated Community Development. At present, he serves as a ward administrator for the county government of Turkana, where he concentrates on ensuring community needs are met through planning, initiating, and implementing government plans and policies. On a personal level, he supports three youth groups and two women’s groups, and sponsors five female students in secondary schools. Bernard Lennon Ekuwam uses these groups as avenues where cattle rustling victims are rehabilitated, trained with life skills and economic peer education, and taught how to read and write. He offers motivational talks to local churches and learning institutions and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Community Development from Daystar University. After the Fellowship, Bernard plans to transform these youth and women’s groups by establishing resource centers to rehabilitate, train and build the capacity of youth and women. Stayed in Kenya.
