Berry Diepeveen

Berry Diepeveen is a partner in Bain & Company’s Johannesburg office. He leads Bain’s Information Technology practice in Africa and and is an expert in the firm’s Digital practice.

Berry has more than 15 years of industry and consulting experience, including strategy consulting, technology and IT strategy and enablement, purpose-led transformations, enterprise performance management, predictive analytics, business intelligence, Big Data and (unstructured) data analytics.

He has both engaged in and led major transformation programs across various industries and has extensive experience in helping corporate clients improve their business performance through major IT implementations, digital transformations, Big Data analytics, business intelligence and enterprise performance management.

Prior to joining Bain in 2017, Berry worked for another global consulting firm where he held the position of Technology Advisory Leader for sub-Saharan Africa. Before that, he was the owner/executive of Partake Consulting Group, a consulting firm with operations in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the UK and France. In addition to his time spent in strategy consulting, he worked in the high tech industry for five years, holding senior international management positions at a large multinational corporate.

He holds an MSc in Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University in The Netherlands.
