Bontle Modiselle is by far one of South Africa’s most multifaceted performers. Over a relatively short period of time, the Soweto-born beauty has gone from an unknown dancer with just a dream, to one of the country’s most sought after film-and TV personalities.

Bontle stepped into the spotlight when she played the female lead in Africa’s first dance film, Hear Me Move (2015), for which she received an Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

In 2016 we saw her true diversity as an entertainer when she joined Rob van Vuuren as co-host for the reality competition series Showville (SABC 2), and later that year as Choreographer for the pop culture phenomenon, Lip Sync Battle Africa (Etv).

In 2017 Bontle returned to the small screen, first as actress in the drama Thula’s Vine (SABC 3), and then as TV Presenter on Club 808, where she co-hosted the popular show on Etv. The year 2018 proved early on to be a big one for Bontle, first as Judge on the reality TV show Ultimate House Party (Mzansi Magic), and then being appointed as Ambassador for the iconic cosmetic brand, REVLON.
