Boy Dhessa Pasha

Boy Dhessa Pasha is a communications specialist. He has over six years’ experience in advocating for peacebuilding and youth empowerment in eastern Congo through his popular TV and radio broadcastings. Currently, Boy is head of the communication’s department of a peace and reconciliation movement called Congo Unites, where he focuses on defining communication strategies and designing messages that connect a network of more than 5,000 young Congolese. As part of his responsibilities, Boy Dhessa Pasha also moderates online experience sharing on leadership, conflict resolution, and peacebuilding with the youth in his movement. Boy’s vision upon the completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship is to start his own media company, specifically focusing on the role of youth in peacebuilding and reconciliation in eastern Congo.
