Brendan Jack

Brendan Jack writes for screen, newspaper and any other medium that will have him. He won several international advertising awards at the Jupiter Drawing Room before co-creating Crazy Monkey sketch comedy, seen worldwide on MTV and he is based in South Africa. He spent time on the stand-up comedy circuit playing events such as Oppikoppi and the 5FM Birthday bash, and for corporate clients such as Famous Brands and Unilever.

Having finished making the feature films Straight Outta Benoni and Footskating 101, as well as the MTV Base show, Stay Off The Grass, he has been involved in writing, producing and acting in the TV show School of Jack. Which has been described as Carte Blanche meets the Learning Channel. He has also recently finished writing, producing, directing and acting in several mini-shows for DSTV’s Channel Go, such as Home Edition and Inside Snoop, as well as creating corporate TV commercials for clients like Gold Reef City.
