Brian Temba

Brian Temba was part of “Lion and the Lamb”, a musical play directed by John Kani. He has been involved in various soundtracks locally and internationally for movies such as Pride (starring Terrance Howard and Bernie Mac)Tears of the Sun (starring Bruce Willis) and an Ireland production called Highway Freedom. He was part of the Miss Teen Production.

He has been based in the UK for the last 5 years, where he was the star of the West End Musical “The Lion King”, performing the role of Simba to packed audiences six nights a week at the Lyceum Theatre in London. He is a seasoned singer and guitar player, and this album displays classic guitar riffs and haunting strings while delivering emotive lyrics. His music is cross over vocal pop / R&B.

Brian Temba’ (full name Brian Themba Makiwane) is a South African born performer, singer, songwriter and producer, known for his role as Simba in the West End musical The Lion King.

An accomplished Artist, singer, musician, actor, producer, composer and entertainer. Brian Temba hails originally from Soshanguve, South Africa. He began his music career as a backing singer for different artists including; Hugh Masekela, Jonathan Butler, & Vicky Vilakazi. He was part of trailblazing groups; Joyous Celebration, Family Factory and IV U (For You).
