Carol Hondonga
Carol is a Global Talent Management Leader at GE with experience living and delivering high impact talent outcomes within Africa, Europe and North America for multinational organisations within digital industrial, mining, banking and corporate education sectors. As an Organisational Learning Leader for Standard Chartered Bank in Southern Africa, she established the first Learning Centre in Africa for the bank in 1999. She also established and lead the Training and Development Function for BancABC, a Pan African Bank.
The career move from banking to join Rio Tinto, a global mining giant, gave Carol the opportunity to establish and lead Talent Acquisition in Africa. Thereafter she moved within Rio Tinto to the UK and Canada as a Principal Advisor designing critical areas in their global talent strategy. Carol returned to the continent in 2015 to lead Talent Acquisition for GE in Africa.
