Caroline Nelson
Caroline was instrumental in supporting the H&M expansion into both Columbia and New Zealand. She has a strong passion for people, strategy, sustainability, and championing local initiatives that help drive employment in South Africa.
Caroline has been a driving force for notable local brand-building initiatives such as their partnership with Neimil (H&M Home’s first local production partnership) and Yay Abe (The first local print collaboration with illustrator Russell Abrahams). Goal orientated, she is constantly on a mission to make H&M South Africa the best destination to shop and environment to work.
She has been at the forefront of steering inclusion, diversity, and equity within H&M South Africa and has supported the roll-out of the Enclave project (a project that was created to provide upskilling and employment opportunities for people with disabilities). Currently, Caroline calls Cape Town home, where H&M’s South African Head Office is based.
