Cathy Kerubo Ogeto

Cathy Ogeto has over two years of experience in the sustainability, community development, and building sectors, focusing on healthy interior environments and the uptake of sustainable and ecologically beneficial practices within the built environment in Kenya. Currently, Cathy is a Design Director at CKO Design Consult, where she focuses on designing, advocating for, and educating on sustainable urban interior environments. She is also pursuing a doctoral degree with the Cooperative Research Centers for Low Carbon Living, and is in training to become a Global Ambassador for the Living Future Institute.Cathy Kerubo Ogeto is motivated by her passion for design policy and research, and hopes to contribute to more inclusive, equitable, affordable and sustainable urban and rural centers. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Cathy plans on continuing her work in creating healthy interior environments with a focus on sustainable urban design.
