Choice Pitso

Choice Pitso, is the Head of Human Resources at Metropolitan Botswana. Previously she was Human Resources Manager at Debswana, Jwaneng Mine and has over 15 years diverse industry experience as Human Resources Manager in various organizations with a stint in Public Relations.

Choice Pitso led a transformational strategy of the Botswana Agricultural Marketing Board as the HR lead during its restructuring and worked in Metropolitan Life Insurance (Botswana) as both Human Resources and Public Relations Manager. She also briefly worked for Laurelton Diamonds Botswana, a diamond polishing company and a subsidiary of Tiffany & Company, before joining Debswana Mining Company.

Choice Pitso’s experience includes development and implementation of human resources strategies across human resources functional areas such as Human Resources Operations Management, Talent & Change Management, Rewards Management and Employee Relations as well as provision of HR internal consultancy. She holds MSc Human Resource Management from the University of Manchester UK, a BA Social Sciences from the University of Botswana. She is also a professional member and served as a Publicity Secretary at Botswana Institute of Human Resources Management (IHRM)..
