Christiana Okyere
Christiana Okyere has four years of experience in the area of community development, leadership development, and corporate social responsibility. She is currently the Program Coordinator for the Databank Foundation where a major component of her work has focused on humanitarian outreaches to poor, vulnerable, and at risk children. Christiana holds a first class honors degree in English and Linguistics from the University of Ghana and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Conflict, Peace and Security with a focus on security for the vulnerable at the Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Training Centre (KAIPTC). Upon completion of the Washington Fellowship, Christiana Okyere plans to work on empowering young people in deprived high schools in Ghana through educational seminars and mentoring programs. She also plans on working collaboratively with non-governmental organizations that focus on providing security for vulnerable people in the Ghanaian society and in the world at large.
