Chuma Ajene

Chuma Ajene is Director of the Investments & Corporate Development team at Atlas Mara where he leads acquisitions, non-core asset divestitures and broader corporate development efforts, including debt and equity fundraising. Prior to joining Atlas Mara, Chuma was a member of the Global Investment Banking team at Deutsche Bank where he was involved in the origination and execution of mergers, acquisitions and hybrid financings for clients in the Financial Services sector across Europe, the Middle East and Ghana.

Chuma Ajene started his professional career at Goldman Sachs in the Financial Institutions Group team within Investment Banking in New York. He obtained his bachelors’ degree in Finance from Howard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
