Colin Leshou

Colin is the Acting Executive Manager: Seda Technology Programme. He has been with Seda for the past 14 years, where he took on various roles. Colin is passionate about SMME development, with a specific focus on entrepreneurial competencies and the role of credit guarantee schemes within small business development. He has been participating in many areas of research within entrepreneurship and has been representing Seda on the international stage. He visited countries such as France, Germany, the USA as well as a myriad of African countries where he has been able to influence the SMME agenda by promoting South African small businesses. Colin’s ability to engage entrepreneurs from all walks of life is allowing him to create platforms and opportunities for robust engagement on topics that might be challenging for SMMEs such as Access to Markets, Access to Finance, Supplier Development, Export Development and many more. He currently holds an MPhil in Development Finance (NQF 9) and is currently enrolled for a Doctorate in Business Leadership (DBL) and a Masters in Insolvency and Business Rescue. Mr Leshou is also knowledgeable in the areas of; Financial Modelling, Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Organizational Development and Innovation, to mention but a few.

Colin is an enthusiastic and professional leader with a proven track record in the field of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development. Colin is passionate about Africa and the emerging markets and would like to see Africa growing to reach its full potential.
