Crystal Rugege

Crystal joined the Board of Directors in November 2017. She has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Grambling State University and master’s degree in information systems and management from Carnegie Mellon University. She is currently working with Carnegie Mellon University Africa (CMU-Africa) as the Director of Strategy and Operations. Prior to joining Carnegie Mellon University, she worked at IBM’s Silicon Valley Lab as a software engineer and also as a technology consultant providing IBM’s customers with business intelligence solutions. She joins the Board with experience in the technology and education fields based in Rwanda.
