Dancan Onyango Ogendo

Dancan Onyango has over five years of experience in banking and financial inclusion consulting across African and Asian markets. Currently, he is Managing Director at Jiwo Paro Group, a social enterprise that pursues financial inclusion and expands economic opportunities for the rural youth and women in under-served areas of Kenya. Dancan graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Nairobi, and holds an two executive education certificates, one on Financial Inclusion and one on Innovation for Economic Development, both from Harvard University. Dancan is committed to pursuing financial inclusion through demand-driven trainings that improve young people’s technical skills. Dancan Onyango Ogendo also wishes to support them in their own entrepreneurial ventures. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Dancan plans on continuing his pursuit for financial inclusion and innovation for change with a focus on expanding footprints to wider geographies and other emerging markets in Kenya.
