Daniel Duplex Nde Tawembe

Daniel Duplex Nde Tawembe has seven years of experience with the Cameroonian judiciary. Having worked for nearly five years as a prosecutor in Bamenda, he currently serves as a judge and examining magistrate in the courts of Mokolo. Daniel holds master’s and postgraduate degrees in Law from the Universities of Dschang and Yaoundé II. He is a researcher and consultant on human rights and related fields of law and justice. Daniel Duplex Nde Tawembe volunteers for NGOs assisting victims of human rights abuses obtain justice and redress. Daniel is the secretary of a task force for the fight against human trafficking, and is a member of the National Council of Nouveaux Droits (NDH) Cameroun. He is fluent in English and French. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, he plans to continue his work with the Cameroonian judiciary with a focus on access to justice for the less privileged.
