David Levithan

David has a BA LLB Degree and has been an admitted attorney for 25 years. He has sat on the board of public and many private companies and has been at the forefront of the mining legislation introduced to South Africa in 2004. He procured for clients amongst the first mining and prospecting licenses in the Northern Cape issued in terms of this dispensation.

He has extensive experience in most aspects of commercial law including mergers and acquisitions, the formation and dissolution of joint ventures and other partnerships, company structuring (including the negotiation and drafting of shareholders and other requisite agreements), the conclusion, negotiation and drafting of broad based black economic empowerment transactions, commodity marketing agreements, as well as the practical implementation of such agreements.
