David Louw
David Louw is South African Actor and Mc originally from Vrede in the Free State, David moved to Johannesburg to pursue his acting career. He studied Stage and Film for four years at PALI (Performing Arts and Lifestyle Institution) and made his stage debut in Paulus followed by Samurai.
Many successful theatre performances followed, including Vaselinetjie, ‘n Tyd om lief te hê and Nag van Legio.
David Louw showed his diversity as a performer when he easily transgressed from stage to television with his role as Petrus Steyn in Villa Rosa, followed by appearances in 7de Laan, Hillside, and Getroud met Rugby, where he is currently playing Simon Greef in the popular KykNET soap.
Apart from the small screen David has also starred in various successful movies, including Wolwedans in die Skemer (2012), Forsaken (2015), Modder en Bloed (2016), Sy Klink Soos Lente (2016) and Vuil Wasgoed (2017).
David Louw’s passion for behind the scene work also led to him now owning a theatre production company called Theatre Bakery (Die Produksiehuis) and through his company directed and performed in Pandora se Boks, a touring theatre show, and various kiddies shows all around the country.
