Delphine Govender

Delphine is Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Perpetua Investment Managers and has 20 years’ investment experience, having started her investment career as an investment analyst at Old Mutual Asset Managers in 1998. Delphine joined Allan Gray Limited in 2001 as an analyst and continued to spend almost 11 years at Allan Gray Limited, where she held positions of Portfolio Manager and executive Director since 2005 and 2006 respectively. In 2012, Delphine left Allan Gray Limited to start Perpetua.

Perpetua is a fundamental, bottom-up investment firm emphasising a proprietary, value-oriented investment approach and investing in funds across South African and global asset classes. Delphine plays an active role in the investment industry through contribution in developments around regulatory improvements; societal impact of the industry; mentorships; diversity advancement and inclusivity; gender mainstreaming and investment thought leadership.

Delphine is a qualified CA(SA) and CFA charterholder.
