Deon Du Preez

Deon du Preez graduated with an Electronics Engineering degree, working in industry for 10 years as an Engineer. His career path then changed as he certified as a Production Planning consultant in SAP. Deon implemented Production Planning and Advanced Planning and Optimisation projects globally. Deon also managed several projects as project manager, and certified as a PMP.

Deon’s passion however lies in innovation, and hence he is now involved in driving new business opportunities by looking at more innovative ways of deploying SAP systems, always with business value kept in mind for his customers. Deon has initiated the building of a business control centre for SAP at Dimension Data, where continuous business value is extracted and return on the SAP investment is paramount for our customers.

Deon is currently busy with the creation of a business changing solution in the mining industry. He is also driving an enablement for Dimension Data to drive efficiency and automation for our customers through the establishment of a Robotic process automation platform. A career however can’t be all work, and that is where a keen interest in wildlife photography has captured Deon’s attention. Time spent in the African bush, with his wife and three children, is what drives him to be successful.
