Dipuo Letsatsi-Dube

Ms Letsatsi-Duba was appointed as Minister of State Security on 27 February 2018. Ms Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba was the Deputy Minister of Public Service and Administration of the Republic of South Africa from 31 March 2017 until 26 February 2018.

Ms Letsatsi-Duba completed her secondary education at Luanshya Girls High School in Zambia and completed a Diploma in Political Science in Cuba in 1987. She completed a Diploma in Mass Communication from Zimbabwe Harare Polytech.

In 1982 she went into exile to join the ANC and Umkhonto we Sizwe. She also worked as the editor in chief of Voice of Women (ANC Women?s Jornal) and as a Media Liaison Officer in the ANC Headquarters (Shell House) from 1992 to 1994.

In 2007 she was elected to serve the Provincial Executive Committee and as Provincial Treasurer of the ANC in 2008.

She previously served as a Member of the Limpopo Legislature and MEC for Agriculture and prior to her appointment to the National Executive, she served as the Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Public Enterprises.
