Dominique Guy Laval Chan Low
Dominique Guy Laval Chan Low has 10 years’ experience working with vulnerable children. He currently works as the reintegration and counseling coordinator at Association Kinouete, an NGO working in the rehabilitation and reintegration of detainees and ex-detainees and family support. Dominique represents the NGO as spokesperson on other NGO boards and networks, and provides counseling to the clients. Dominique Guy Laval Chan Low also provides prerelease and life skills training in prisons. Dominique has a BA in Psychology from the Oklahoma Baptist University, USA. Upon completing the Mandela Washington Fellowship(Africa), he plans to advocate with the community and the authorities for a change in the law concerning juvenile delinquency. He also plans to conduct several workshops on rehabilitation and reintegration, give talks in schools on prevention, implement actions, and help families change their behavior for the betterment of their children, thus reducing the prison population.
