Dr. Almadi Obere
Dr. Almadi Obere is a senior lecturer in the School of Economics. He is a holder of a PhD in Economics from the University of Nairobi. Prior to this qualification, he obtained a B. Ed (Economics and Business Studies) and an MA (Economics) from the University of Nairobi,Kenya.
Almadi Obere is known for his prowess in econometrics especially at the Ph.D level. He was recently involved in the curriculum review for financial economics taught under Africa Economic Research Consortium (AERC). He has attended several international conferences. Dr. Obere, an AERC scholar, has supervised several Ph.D and masters students.
